Ask the library assistant
Click Ask the Library in the bottom‑right corner. The assistant answers routine questions about hours, borrowing, textbooks, course reserves, research databases, and what the library offers, and it hands research questions off to a librarian. It is the same assistant the library would embed on their own pages - this page just adds the one script tag.

- Get a library card
- Currently enrolled students are set up with borrowing privileges; bring your GavID to the circulation desk.
- Find my course textbook
- Many textbooks are on course reserve or available online through the catalog. The bookstore sells and rents course materials.
- Request something the library does not own
- Interlibrary Loan borrows books and articles from other libraries on your behalf.
- Get research help
- Reference librarians are available in person, by phone, and by email during open hours.
